I am a big fan of Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies, and you will be too, after tasting the best of the best! My Ultimate Strawberry Cookies are slightly crispy on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside, with the help of the cream cheese filling. Whoever tastes this, family or friends, get ready for the compliments to roll in! It’s that delicious!
These cookies, literally taste like sugar cookies and cheesecake all in one. The perfect combination of ingredients for these perfect pretty cookies. They are beautiful and so addictive. The real chunks of strawberry pieces are just the top of the cake.
Strawberry is my favorite fruit and cheesecake is my favorite treat. So, I’m not even surprised that this cookie got on my top list of cookies. Usually, I love some good Chocolate Chip Cookies, but this one won the competition from now. You’ll see what I am talking about when you try it out.
My other favorite one is the M&M Cookies which is my son’s favorite too. My son loves the Hocus Pocus Cookies also which is a beautiful, colorful sugar cookie. They look so bright and inviting with those colors, that is so easy to make kids’ attention with them.

My husband loves sweet cookies but I like cookies with slightly less sugar. So, sometimes when I am the one, whos craving it, I add less sugar. But usually, I just do it this way (after this recipe) because my husband eats 80% of the cookies, so why just not make it how he likes it? Right?
Ingredients
The cream cheese filling has two ingredients. Obviously the 3/4 cup cream cheese and 1/4 powdered sugar. It’s so simple and ready in a few seconds. For the cookies:
- Salted Butter
- White Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Egg
- Egg yolk
- Vanilla Extract
- Baking Soda
- Salt
- All-Purpose Flour
- Fresh Strawberries
You’ll get approximately 10 – 11 cookies, depends how big you want them. But for them to be bigger and puffy cookies you’ll need them to be larger.
How To Make Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies
- In a small bowl mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and combined.
- Place 10 teaspoons of cream cheese on the baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes, or until almost completely solid.
- Whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda then set aside.
- In a bowl, beat the butter and sugars together with a hand mixer, until light and fluffy (about 1-2 minutes). Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
- Add in the flour, salt, and baking soda, and mix until just combined. (Make sure you don’t over-mix it.)
- Dice the strawberries and gently fold them in.
- Scoop 12 heaping tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet. They should be slightly big (approximately they’d be about 2 tbsp-sized).
- Press the back of a teaspoon into the top of the balls of dough to create an indent.
- Remove the cream cheese filling from the freezer and place one into each of the cookies.
- Make the cookie dough a ball with a cheesecake inside. Will be harder to work with, because of the strawberries, but just do it. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
- Refrigerate the prepared cookie dough balls for at least 15-20 minutes, and bake them for 13-16 minutes in a preheated oven at 350°F. It has to be slightly golden brown and the tops set.
- After removing them from the oven, cool them down, then enjoy.
The good thing about these cookies is that everything is natural. Because of the fresh strawberries you don’t need anything artificial and anything unhealthy.
