This is kind of a copycat Kylie Jenner Shrimp Taco recipe! Easiest and quickest recipe to make when it's about shrimps. Amazingly delicious and flavorful. It is crunchy and crispy outside and soft inside.

I wouldn't say Kylie Jenner is a Chef, but what she knows about tacos, she knows! We know her favorite food is tacos. All kinds! So it's pretty sure she's not going to fail with this taco recipe either!

Ingredients for the Kylie Jenner Shrimp Taco recipe

  • Shrimp - The taste is best when the shrimp is fresh. The fresh shrimp looks white and not red or yellow, and its head is not falling off. Pay a lot of attention to this!
  • Onion - Chopped
  • Mexican Cheese - Shredded
  • Cilantro - Chopped
  • Green Onion - Shredded
  • Limes - Fresh lime Juice
  • Sour Cream
  • Canola oil
  • Avocados
  • Fresh Salsa
  • Onion Powder - to taste
  • White Corn Tortillas
  • Tomatoes - Decid
  • Old Bay Seasoning - to taste. More, it's better.

Let's make this famous Taco

  1. Cut the heads off the shrimps and peel them. Take the shrimp into a perforated bowl and wash with cold water. Drain excess water and cut the shrimp into pieces (about 1 inch). Keep the cut shrimps in another bowl.
  2. Sprinkle Old Bay seasoning and onion powder over the shrimp. Stir for absorption and set aside.
  3. Heat a skillet with olive oil on medium-low heat. Add half of the chopped onion, cubed cut tomatoes, and cilantro, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Then add the shrimp and mix them very well. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the shrimps turn orange. Stir occasionally to avoid burning. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Heat another deep skillet with canola oil to fry tortillas. Wait for 1 minute to heat the oil. Place tortilla into the heated oil (one at a time) for about 30 seconds or less until the tortilla is soft enough to fold.
  6. To make a taco shell, fold the tortilla. Flip the tortilla occasionally to prevent over-frying. Once the tortilla is done frying, arrange it on a plate. Put a paper towel on the plate so it can soak up excess oil. Fry all tortillas in the same way.
  7. Then make guacamole. To make guacamole, add avocado, shredded green onion, lime juice, onion powder, salt, and the rest of the chopped onion, cilantro, and cubed tomatoes in a bowl. Grind them with a hand grinder until smooth.
  8. Also, if you don't want to make guacamole and just want to mix the vegetables together, just go ahead! The taste will be pretty much the same.
  9. Put the guacamole, fried shrimp, and sour cream into the taco shells and keep them on a plate. Top with shredded Mexican cheese. Garnish with cilantro and serve with salsa.

I am allergic to sea food, so I used fish pieces instead and it was full of flavors, wonderful. I will do it again. Thanks

  5. You should really give this recipe the proper credit - it isn't Kylie's recipe it was actually Karrueche Tran's. (Video is available on YouTube.)
