Kalamata Olive Tapenade

Kalamata Olive Tapenade is a Mediterranean spread that is done just in 5 minutes. Can be used as a spread, on a toasted baguette, or on fresh bread. Appetizer dip on hummus, or the "sauce" on the pizza.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Kalamata Olives
  • cup Manzanilla Olives
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 3 - 4 cloves Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Parsley
  • 2 - 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, combine Kalamata olives, Manzanilla olives, capers, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Add olive oil.
  • Pulse a few times until coarsely chopped.
  • Adjust salt and pepper to taste and serve at room temperature.

Notes

 1. It comes out to around 1½ cups of spread and I counted ¼ cups for one serving.
