Matcha Brownie with White Chocolate

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 (+ ¼) cup white chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp matcha powder
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350℉
  • Place the unsalted butter and half the cup of the white chocolate chips in a heatproof mixing bowl, and heat in the microwave (approx. 1 minute) until the chocolate melts.
  • Add matcha powder, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate and stir with the hand mixer until is well combined.
  • Add eggs, then continue combining the same way. Now you should have a smooth and glossy batter.
  • Add all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt to the matcha mixture and start combining again with the hand mixer.
  • Put parchment paper in the baking tray, then pour the batter on top of it and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the center is set.
  • Cool it down completely before serving.
