Equipment

  • Small Glasses or Small Bowls 4 - 4 ounces

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 sheets of gelatin soaked in cold water and squeezed dry

Pomegranate Glaze

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice

Garnish

  • dark chocolate cubes
  • Pomegranate Arils

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepot combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar, whisking well to combine.
  • Place over medium heat and bring to a slight boil, then remove from heat.
  • Whisk in gelatin until fully dissolved and nicely smooth and slightly thick.
  • Divide white cream amongst each small glass or small bowl. Leave space for the pomegranate glaze later.
  • Set the panna cotta in the refrigerator to chill overnight or for at least 1 hour. 

Pomegranate Glaze

  • Place a large saute pan over medium heat and add in the sugar and Pomegranate juice.
  • Bring it to a boil until it reduces to a consistency of sticky syrup.
  • Let it cool down.
  • Then pour the pomegranate glaze on the Panna Cotta.
  • Garnish with chocolate cubes or curls, and pomegranate arils. Serve immediately.
