…and One Sweet Harmony is my little happy place on the internet! About me: I’m the creator, chef, food photographer, and author behind One Sweet Harmony.
This foodie corner of mine began as a hobby more than five years ago, when I was about to give birth to my baby boy.
It was an exciting moment in my life, feeling ready for my new chapter and being (kind of) confident to kick off my sleepless nights.
…and on top of that, I started my food blog journey. This is kind of my “me time”.
Started it without knowing much about blogging life, but during the following years, I learned from my mistakes, and even my cooking got better 😉
I live in New Jersey with my husband and my two kids, Joseph and Hadassah, and my stepson, David. I am a Transylvanian girl, from Romania, with a Hungarian background. My husband is Dominican… and we live in the USA. You might ask how we met, right? 🙂
Right now, my days are simple but full of joy and happiness, thanks to my kids. Running after the kids and making everybody happy. I think that would be all about me in a nutshell.
Little Bit Deeper
I want to share flavorful, authentic Transylvanian recipes that I love to make in our everyday life. These recipes are mostly from my grandmother’s and my mother’s recipe books and I love to follow the traditional taste.
Recipes, like Magyar Húsleves (Hungarian Chicken Soup), Palacsinta (Hungarian Pancakes), Stefánia szelet (Hungarian Meatloaf), Kürtöskalács (Chimney Cake), Cottage Cheese Biscuit (Túrós Pogácsa), or the Sweet Noodle Pudding (Vargabéles), are just a few of them.
What Else…About Me
I love our traditional foods and pastries, desserts, but I also have a love for different cuisines. I like to experiment and taste new things. That’s why you’ll find a Copycat category here.
