- Mix the black pepper, salt, and cornstarch together. Then mix well with the chicken wings until they are evenly coated.

- When it’s done place it on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Combine light soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger, garlic, and onion in a pan.
- Place pan over low-medium heat and stir until sugar is fully dissolved. In a different cup add cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Pour the mixture into the glaze to thicken.
